$1 per blue donut sold goes to SA Police Legacy

National Police Remembrance Day is on 29 September and is a day where we honour and remember all police officers who have lost their lives while performing their duty as a police officer. This day is recognised nationally.
To pay our respects and to raise awareness of the day, SA Police Legacy hosts Blue Donut Week which encourages bakeries and supermarkets around South Australia to sell blue donuts and $1 for every donut sold is donated to SA Police Legacy.

This is our fourth year hosting this fundraising event and once again Drakes Supermarkets are joining the campaign supported by Vili’s bakery, selling blue donuts in-store from Monday 23rd September to Saturday 28th September 2024 inclusive. Drakes own 44 supermarkets statewide and every store will be participating; please show your support by visiting your local Drakes.

Additionally, 20 independent South Australian bakeries are participating in Blue Donut Week. These bakeries are listed below.

All funds raised during this campaign are used to support South Australian police officers and their families during times of serious illness, injury or bereavement. Our support to bereaved families of police officers is available regardless of whether they have passed away on or off duty.
