Legatee Mid-Year Luncheon

Sunday 25th June may have seen grey skies and light rain looming, but nothing was going to dampen the day for our mid-year luncheon shared with our fabulous Legatees and four of our Board Members.  Our venue was the Hackney Hotel and thankfully we had our own private room, as we can tend to be a bit of a noisy bunch!

As per usual, the company was great and there was no shortage of catch-up news exchanged between attendees. Old friendships were reinforced and new ones forged. The day wouldn’t seem complete without one of Karen’s ‘awful’ jokes which was met with the usual round of groans.

Much laughter, good food and promises to keep in touch were the order of the day.  We are already looking forward to next month’s event where we get to ‘frock up’ for High Tea!
