Member Update – July 2019

Thank you for your continued support via regular workplace giving. It is pleasing to announce that FY1819 saw the highest amount passed on to SA Police families doing it tough due to bereavement and/or serious illness. During FY1819 SA Police Legacy paid out over $130,000 to SA Police families via Grants, Services and Social Support.

It is through member’s continued generosity that this result was achieved. For FY1819, when completing your tax return, please keep in mind that if you contributed the minimum fortnightly amount for the entire year, the amount you can claim as a tax deduction is $65. If you contributed more than $2.50 per fortnight or contributed for part of the year, please contact the office for an accurate figure for your tax return.
